A Gift from Male to Female: Finally Observed Courtship Feeding!
カワセミの繁殖活動の中でもっとも興味深いシーンのひとつが求愛給餌です。
その待ちに待った給餌風景をようやく今日観察及び撮影することができました。
あまりにも突然のことだったのでカメラの設定が間に合わず仕上がりはよくはありませんが、観察の証拠写真としてご覧いただければと思います。
One of the most fascinating scenes in the breeding activities of kingfishers is their courtship feeding.
Today, I was finally able to observe and capture the eagerly awaited feeding scene.
As it happened so suddenly, I was unable to adjust my camera settings in time, so the resulting photos are not of the best quality.
However, I hope you will enjoy them as evidence of my observation.

ここからの４枚はシャッタースピード1/10で手持ちでの撮影でした。ブレを少しでも防ぐために柵に身体をあずけて撮影しました。
The next four photos were taken handheld with a shutter speed of 1/10. To prevent as much camera shake as possible, I leaned against a fence while taking the shots.
