Finally, the Narcissus Flycatcher has arrived at my mountain field!
23日にはまだ姿もなく鳴き声も聞かれなかったキビタキが苔むす地面に降り立って何かを啄んでいるところに今日出くわしました。
その後、フィールド内を精力的に縄張り宣言して回るキビタキの後を付いていきながらシャッターチャンスを狙いました。
On the 23rd, I came across a Narcissus Flycatcher, which had not yet been seen and whose cries had not been heard, landing on a moss-covered ground and pecking at something.
Taking this as an opportunity, I followed the flycatcher as it energetically declared its territory within the field, aiming for a chance to take photos.

今日はよく晴れていて気持ちの良い青空の下でバードウォッチングを楽しむことができました。
実質、キビタキの追っかけをしていたのですが、キビタキには明るい日差しがよく似合うなと感じました。
晴天だと濃い影ができたり白トビをする確率も高まりますが、それでもキビタキの朱色と黄色は明るい光が当たってこそ映えるのだと実感した次第です。
Today was a beautiful day with clear blue skies, and I was able to enjoy birdwatching under the pleasant weather.
In particular, I was following the Narcissus Flycatcher, and I thought the bright sunshine suited it well.
On a sunny day, there is a higher chance of creating deep shadows or overexposure, but I realized that the orange and yellow colors of the Narcissus Flycatcher truly shine when they are illuminated by bright light.
