Exploring my favorite Mountain Field for Wild Birds and Spring Blooms
中２日開けて再び山のフィールドに行ってきました。
これだけ好天が続くと例年よりもカタクリの花が早く咲くのでは気になって仕方ありません。
いつもの公園はこの週末は花見客がたくさん来られるでしょうから、その喧騒を逃れる意味もあって山のフィールドを選択しました。
もちろん、野鳥にも会いたいですが、春のこの時期は何と言っても春の妖精の代表格、カタクリの花が楽しみです。
４月の前半の２週間は、カタクリの花に集中したいと思います。
I went to the mountain field again after a two-day break.
I can’t help but wonder if the katakuri flowers will bloom earlier than usual because of this long period of good weather.
The usual park will be crowded with cherry blossom viewers this weekend, so I chose the mountain field to escape from the hustle and bustle.
Of course, I also want to see wild birds, but in this season of spring, the representative of the spring fairy, the katakuri flower, is what I’m looking forward to the most.
I plan to focus on the katakuri flowers for the first two weeks of April.

フィールドに着くとすぐにカタクリの開花状状況を確認しました。
今日咲きそうな蕾に目星を付けてから、バードウォッチングを開始しました。
オオアカゲラ、カワガラス、ミソサザイの鳴き声を聞きましたが撮影機会には恵まれませんでした。
したがって、バードウォッチングという点では収穫が少なかったですが、カタクリの花を思い描いていたように撮れたので良しとします。
Upon arriving at the field, I immediately checked the blooming status of the katakuri flowers.
After identifying the buds that were likely to bloom today, I started bird watching.
I heard the calls of the white-backed woodpecker, brown dipper, and wren, but I was not fortunate enough to have the opportunity to take pictures of them.
Therefore, in terms of bird watching, the harvest was meager, but since I was able to capture the katakuri flowers as I had imagined, I am satisfied.
