今日の翡翠…１ヶ月ぶりにカワセミが大池にやってきた！

A kingfisher pair came to our pond for the first time in a month!

私が公園に着くとカワセミのポイントに３人のお仲間の姿が見えます。

ということは、「カワセミがいるのか？」と期待しながら合流すると、やはりカワセミが番でやって来たとのことでした。

散策道から樹間越しに探すとメスがいました。

約１ヶ月ぶりにいつもの美しい姿を見ることができました。

When I arrived at the park, I saw three fellow birders at the kingfisher viewing point. Wondering if there was a kingfisher present, I joined them and indeed, a kingfisher pair had arrived on the scene.

Looking through the trees from the walking path, I spotted a female kingfisher.

After about a month, I was able to see her beautiful figure again.
