Spotting the Narcissus Flycatcher – the first of the season!
バードウォッチング仲間のOMさんが14日に初ゲットされたキビタキに出会えるかなと期待しながら公園に行くと、日本庭園の辺りでキビタキの囀りが大きく聞こえてきました。
姿を確認することはできませんでしたが、久しぶりに耳にするキビタキの美しい鳴き声に感動です。
結局、尾根コースを歩いている時に比較的近くの樹で鳴いているところに出くわし撮影することができました。
I went to the park with the hope of seeing the Narcissus Flycatcher that Mr. OM, a fellow birdwatcher of mine, had spotted for the first time on the 14th. As I was strolling around the Japanese garden, I heard the Narcissus Flycatcher’s song loudly.
Although I couldn’t catch a glimpse of it, I was moved by the beautiful chirping of the Narcissus Flycatcher, which I heard for the first time in a long time.
In the end, I was able to take pictures of the narcissus flycatcher that was singing on a tree relatively close to me while walking along the ridge course.

１週間ぶりに公園で探鳥ウォーキングを楽しみました。
情報のあったキビタキに出会え撮影できたのは幸運以外の何ものでもありません。
たまにはこういうラッキーデーもあります。
それにしても、ハシビロガモがまだ池に居ることに少々驚きました。全部で11羽いました。
旅立つ前に、美しくなってきたオスをもっと上手く撮影したいものです。
I enjoyed a birdwatching walk in the park for the first time in a week.
It was nothing short of lucky to be able to meet and photograph the Narcissus Flycatcher that had been reported.
Occasionally, there are such lucky days like this.
However, I was a little surprised that there were still 11 northern shovelers in the pond.
Before they leave, I want to capture a better shot of the male that has become more beautiful.
