Long-tailed Tits, Just Started Making a Nest!
数日前に、エナガが苔を咥えていたと他のバーダーさんから報告がありました。それを知って、もうエナガが巣作りを始める時季が来たのだなと気が付きました。
そして、今日の探鳥ウォーキングで、エナガのカップルが蜘蛛の巣を集めているところを観察することができました。
彼らは巣作りに勤しんでいるようです。
A few days ago, another birdwatcher reported seeing a long-tailed tit carrying moss in its beak.Knowing this, I realized that it was now the season for them to start building their nests. And today, during my birdwatching walk, I observed a pair of long-tailed tits collecting spider webs. It appears that they are busy building their nest.

季節は移ろい、春の足音が聞こえてきています。
野鳥の世界でも春になろうとしています。
他の小鳥に先んじて、エナガが繁殖の準備を始めたようです。巣作りのための苔や蜘蛛の巣を集めています。
ウグイスも囀りの練習を始めました。
本格的な春の訪れが楽しみです。
The seasons are changing, and we can hear the footsteps of spring approaching. It seems that the world of wild birds is also trying to become spring. Ahead of other small birds, the long-tailed tit seems to have started preparing for breeding. They are gathering moss and spider webs for nest building. The Japanese bush warbler has also started practicing its singing. We are looking forward to the arrival of the full-fledged spring.
