今日も公園内の２ヶ所でキビタキに出会うことができました。
縄張り宣言か、あるいはメスへのアピールなのか、どちらのキビタキも高らかに囀っていました。
ピッコロをイメージさせるキビタキの囀りはとても心地よくなるほど軽やかに響きます。
I was able to encounter the narcissus flycatcher at two locations in the park today.
Both narcissus flycatchers were singing loudly, whether it was a territorial declaration or an appeal to females.
The chirping of the narcissus flycatcher, which reminds me of a piccolo, resonates so lightly that it becomes very comfortable.

いつもの鳴き声とは異なる鳴き方をしていました。初めて聞く鳴き声だったので、その場でネット検索すると、「繁殖期の鳴き声」とのことでした。
This woodpecker made a different sound than usual. It was the first time I had heard such a sound, so I searched the internet on the spot and found that it was a “breeding call”.

今朝は曇り空で光が乏しい条件でした。
せっかくキビタキに出会ったのですから薄日だけでも差してほしかったです。
キビタキの黄色やオレンジ色はどんよりとした曇り空の下では本来の発色は得られないからです。
This morning was cloudy and the light was poor.
Since I had a chance to meet two Narcissus Flycatchers, I wanted even a little sunshine.
The yellow and orange colors of the Narcissus Flycatcher cannot be seen in their true colors under cloudy skies.
