A Moment of Peace: Watching the Kingfisher Princess Chillax on Her Perch
今日は時間の余裕がなかったので、ウォーキングは省略しカワセミとの出合いだけを期待していつもの公園のカワセミポイントに直行しました。
池のあたりで過ごせる時間は１時間15分ほどでした。
この限られた時間にもかかわらず、待ち時間ゼロでカワセミ発見！
Today, I didn’t have enough time to spend in the park, so I quickly skipped walking and went straight to the usual kingfisher spot, hoping to only encounter the beautiful kingfishers I saw yesterday.
I had about an hour and 15 minutes to spend around the peaceful pond.
Despite the limited time, fortunately, I found the female kingfisher with no waiting time!

限られた時間でのバードウォッチングにも関わらず、ポイントに着くやいなやメスを発見することができ、１時間ほどの間に約500枚を撮影できたのは実にラッキーでした。
これに気を良くし明日もカワセミ中心の探鳥ウォーキングをしようと思います。
しばらくの間、カワセミ三昧ができればこの上なく喜ばしいのですが…。
Despite the limited time for birdwatching, I was lucky enough to observe a female kingfisher as soon as I arrived at the spot, and was able to take about 500 photos in the span of an hour.
Feeling encouraged by this, I’m planning to go on another birdwatching walk focused on kingfishers tomorrow.
I would be overjoyed if I could immerse myself in the world of kingfishers for a while….
